2014 Holidays Calendar published
On December 11 2013, the Chinese government released the holidays calendar for year 2014.

Notice from the State Council General Office regarding the holidays in year 2014
Notice number 28
All the provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly subordinated to the central government, city governments, State Council ministers and all the subordinated government offices: following ratification by the State Council, what follows are the directives regarding the vacation days associated to the festivities in year 2014.
New year's day: January first, one day
Spring festival: from January 31 to February 6, 7 days. January 26 (Sunday) and February 8 (Saturday) will be normal working days.
Qing Ming festival: April 5 off, April 7 (Monday) compensatory rest.
Labor day: from May 1 to may 3, total 3 days. May 4 (Sunday) will be a normal working day.
Dragon Boat Festival: June 2 off, all the way to the weekend.
Middle Autumn festival: 8 Settembre off, all the way to the weekend.
National day: From October 1st to October 7, 7 days. September 28 (Sunday) and October 11 (Saturday) will be normal working days.
During the holidays every locality, every department will have to manage in the appropriate way shifts and security, to be able to timely manage possible noteworthy problems that could happen suddenly, and ensure to the citizens happy and peaceful vacation time.
